MEETINGS
Meetings are held monthly - Usually Every 3rd Saturday from Jan 2005 onwards.
All Meetings are held in Classroom F3 at 11.00am - In the Waller Centre
All Gym Parents are invited - To all meetings

15 October (General meeting at 11am, then AGM at 11.30am)
CHARTER 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005

MBC Gymnastics Support Group is a group of Moreton Bay College Parents and Associates, who voluntarily seek to support and enhance the MBC Gymnastics Programs; being Women's Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Cheersports.

The MBC Gymnastics Support Group (hereafter GSG) is formed under the objects of, and with the approval of the Moreton Bay College Parents & Friends Association Inc. The GSG will comply with the constitution; approved Statement of Best Practices, Procedures and Rules of the MBC Parents & Friends Association Inc. (hereafter MBC P&F)

The GSG will define its role specifically in terms of the MBC P&F constitution.

In all activities, the GSG will abide by the published principles and policies of Moreton Bay College.

The objects for which the GSG is established are:

  1. To support the Head of Gymnastics - MBC in actively achieving the goals of MBC Gymnastics as detailed in the operating plan.

  2. To liaise, as required, with the Head of Gymnastics - MBC regarding MBC Gymnastics activities.

  3. To conduct various fund-raising activities, the results of which are to be directed, as agreed and approved by the Head of Gymnastics and the GSG Management Committee, as follows:

    a) Primarily, to meet the competition needs of the MBC Gymnastic competition program, and

    b) Secondly, to meet acquisition of plant, equipment and resources in accordance with appropriate MBC approval procedures, and

    c) Thirdly to assist with the general development of the MBC Gymnastics program

  4. To actively support the activities of MBC's Andrews Cup and QGSSSA gymnastics teams.

  5. To actively support MBC School Functions, such as the Open Day.

  6. To use the MBC Weekly Newsletter and the MBC P&F Newsletter for the communication and promotion of the Gymnastics Program and the GSG.

  7. To develop and foster a positive and amiable involvement of MBC parents and associates in supporting the interests and activities of MBC Gymnastics.
