MBC Gymnasts achieve historic results at 2007 Queensland State Championships

 

MBC Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnasts garnered a total of 45 medals at the recent 2007 Senior State Championships conducted at the Sleeman Centre, Chandler.

 

1)         MBC Rhythmic Gymnastic Results – 13 Medals – 8 Gold, 3 Silver, 2 Bronze

·       Barbara Belford – Level 10 State Champion (Gold – Rope, Hoop, Clubs & Ribbon)

·       Alexia Teixeira – Stage 3 State Champion (Gold – Rope, Freehand / Silver – Ball & Ribbon)

·       Mae McDonald – 4th All Around Level 8 (Silver – Clubs / Bronze – Rope/Ball)

·       Tessa Horgan – 8th All Around Level 7

·       Olivia Grant – 9th All Around Level 7

2)         MBC Artistic Gymnastic Results – 32 Medals – 11 Gold, 13 Silver, 8 Bronze

·       Chloe Sims – Senior International State Champion (Gold – Vault, Bars, Beam / Silver – Floor Exercise)

·       Larrissa Miller – Junior International 2nd All Around (Silver – Beam, Bars & Floor Exercise)

·       Acacia Teixeira – International Level 10 State Champion (Gold – Floor Exercise, Vault / Silver Uneven Bars, Bars / Bronze – Beam)

·       Sherilyse Gowlett – International Level 8 3rd All Around (Gold – Uneven Bars / Silver – Vault / Bronze – Beam)

·       Talitha Boffo – International Level 8 4th All Around (Silver – Uneven Bars)

·       Breanah Wong – International Level 6 3rd All Around (Silver – Vault, Balance Beam / Bronze – Floor Exercise)

·       Brittany Boffo – International Level 6 6th All Around (Gold – Balance Beam)

·       Natalie Cruickshanks – Level 8 State Champion (Gold – Vault / Bronze – Uneven Bars)

·       Tara Brady – 6th All Around Level 8 (Silver – Uneven Bars)
