MBC Internationals Shine at National Event

MBC International gymnasts from our Centre of Excellence continued the tradition of strong performances at the 2007 National Club Championships conducted in Canberra during the December holiday period. With only 4 MBC representatives (Chloe Sims, Shar-lee Clark, Georgia Brown and Tabitha Boffo); our smallest contingent in many years; the MBC Team placed second All Around in the Team Event, replicating our results from 2006. These outstanding results follow our National Club victories in 2004 and 2005. Congratulations to our MBC students and their Master International staff – Olga and Sasha Belooussov. MBC won 12 medals, including 5 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bonrze. Individual results include; Chloe Sims – Sr. International – 2nd All Around – Gold on Vault & U Bars Georgia Rose Brown – Int. Level 8 – 1st All Around – Gold on Beam & Floor Shar-lee Clark – Int. Level 8 – 4th All Around – Silver on Beam & Floor and Bronze on U Bars Brittany Boffo – Int. Level 6 – 4th All Around – Silver on Floor, Beam & U Bars
